Judge Blocks Missouri Execution Drug

A pharmacy in Oklahoma has been blocked by a federal judge from providing a drug to the Missouri Department of Corrections needed for a scheduled execution. U.S. District Judge Terence Kern issued a temporary retraining order blocking the shipment of the drug until a hearing can be conducted on the issue next week.The order was the result of a lawsuit filed by Missouri death row inmate Michael Taylor.
